Look at it this way much better to get knocked out by them in the 3rd round than in the quarter final…… we don’t have the squad to compete with them, so doubtful our scrubs would compete with theirs.

Bit annoyed at first but actually happy with this
Much rather take Europe seriously and get to the Knock out stages
We will play a young team. We have Europa the week before and then Man Utd in the league. Go full strength for both and then put kids out for Mickey Mouse cup.

Usually I’m pretty adamant that we take all cups seriously but this year with the Europa League in mind and now seeing this draw I’m not particularly bothered if we get knocked out.
Let’s have a real go at the Europa. I think we can go far.

This season, I really don’t give a fuck about the league cup. I still hope we get a result, but it has to be up to the second string. We have a chance if OGS also puts out his extras.
I’m more looking forward to Friday’s Europa draw.
